We had a chance to catch up wtih the Brown's a few weeks ago with a visit
to thier family house on Benson Lake.  It was such a relaxing trip and we had
a chance to play, fish and laugh a lot.
Thanks to the Alexanders and Brown's for hosting us.  We had a fantastic time.

We headed out for our annual crabbing trip to Sequim Bay earlier this month.  As always it was quite an adventure and a ton of fun to rough it with our family.

We spent a lot of time on the beach turning rocks over and finding all sorts of amazing critters.

Our evening entertainment included an intense round of Bingo and a game of Chubby Bunnies led by yours truly.  If you don't know what Chubby Bunnies is, let me explain.  You grab a bag of marshmallows and hand them out to the participants one at a time.  They have to poke the marshmallow into their mouth and say "Chubby Bunny".  Hilarious :)

We headed back to the Olympic Game Farm and it never disappoints.

This one is my favorite picture of the trip.  Chase lost his first tooth on the 4th of July and Joe recently lost both of his front teeth.  They looked so cute with their toothless smiles :)

Portland Zoo

We headed out on a road trip last weekend and ended up stopping in at Portland Zoo.  It was beautiful and huge and even though we were there almost all day, I don't think we got to see everything.

A definate highlight to the day for a certain family member was the Zooliner.

Chase and this lion fought a crazy battle, but it looks like the lion won.
My favorite part of the day was having Sarabeth hang out with us.  It was a good day.

All Aboard!

We celebrated Max's 3rd birthday with a CHOO CHOO train party and he loved it.

We had friends and family join us and it ended up being a lot of fun.

I got the bright idea that I would make a Thomas out of cardboard boxes....it will be easy I thought....never again :)  But Max and his buddies had a lot of fun playing with him.

I love trains!

Our Max is a train guy.  He LOVES trains and tells us this fact several times a day.
Max knows where every track in town is and he likes to point them out as we travel around
town.  So as his third birthday was coming up, what else could we do, but have a train party!
We kicked off Max's train celebration with a trip to see Thomas the Train who just happened
to be in town on Max's birthday weekend.  I think it was fate.  It was a great trip and both of
the boys loved it.
