A couple of days before Christmas, the boys and I got busy making Christmas Cookies. It was so fun to cut out all of the shapes and let the boys lick the frosting off the beater. We had so much fun boogying around the kitchen to Christmas music and using our spatulas as microphones. The boys did a great job cutting out the cookies and decorating them, but I think their favorite part was licking the beaters!

Happy Heart....
I haven't posted since Halloween, so it is about time I start playing catch up.
I tell you what, these two little boys make my heart sing. I just look at this
picture and I can't help smiling. They are so beautiful and I am truly blessed
they are so loving and mine.

Happy Halloween
We love pumpkins and we had a ton of them this year.
All of the pumpkins we carved and the ones below came from our garden.
This is the cutest little train I have ever seen and I love the action shots for this Ninja.
Happy Halloween!

A little bit scary!
My Uncle and Aunt held another hilarious Halloween party this year and it was as fun as always. It happened to be the night of Chase's sleep over, so my neices did my makeup and my husband offered to stay home with the kiddos (love him).

The last party we had was in 2010 and I don't think I ever posted these. Crack me up!

DYNOMITE!!
What a week we just had.....it was DYNOMITE to say the least! Chase celebrated his 6th birthday last week and decided he wanted a dinosaur theme. We busted out the dino cookie cutters for his class treats and Chase and Dan got busy making a crazy cool triceratops
pinata. The grand finale to the birthday craziness was a party with family and friends on Saturday complete with a volcano cake and a sleep over with a total of seven kiddos!

An oldie, but a goodie :)
Happy Birthday to our buddy Jackson. These two were hilarious. They saw a flag through
the window at McDonalds and started to say the Pledge of Allegiance which then went
into a full rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. It went from funny to heartwarming and
everyone at McDonalds clapped for them.

Max....oh this boy.
Max has been cracking us up lately with his little sense of humor and he also has Dan and I sharing looks across the room in pride, when we hear some of the things that come out of his mouth:) I want to remember them, so I am going to write them down.
Picture this....I am playing with Max in his room, but step away to go turn the oven off. Max will holler, "Maamma....Maaammmaa!" and when he finds me he will say, "There you are Mama! I have been looking for you ALL day!" It is completely adorable.
Max is so caring and whenever he hears someone else in peril, such as Chase's lego tower falling to the ground Max will say, "OH NO! How did that happen?!?" It sounds so simple, but it is priceless coming from a sweet three year old who is sincerely perplexed.
Max tells each of us many times a day, "I lub you!" That is one of the best things
that happens to me all day. Max also tells me that he "lubs" Thomas, milk,
each of his cousins, and Gus Gus.
See the picture above, well Max sees Chase giving a thumbs up in many of his
pictures, so that is his version of that funny pose :)
Whenever Max gets something mixed up or messed up, he will giggle and say, "Silly Max!" He will also call me out if I am mixed up and say, "Silly Mama!". I kind of love it :)
I know there are so many more, so I may add to this as
I think of them, but this is a good start.

Kindergarten.....
I have been thinking about this day for a very long time and now it has come. Chase started kindergarten today! I can report that not one tear was shed, though I only expected them from me.
Chase rocked at Duck Duck Goose and loved his teacher.
Chase with Mrs. Rose
My heart is a little heavy, but so very proud!
