Daddy and Chase have been talking about sleeping under the stars all summer and
they finally did it the other night. It was so cute to listen to them talking about all
the stars and action in the sky. Chase slept like a log, but Daddy didn't have quite as
peaceful of a night, but they both said they had fun.
We went to the Bear's game this evening. It was 96 degrees, but it was a gorgeous
evening. Speaking of evening, I am a little sad tonight as it is only 8:30 pm and
dark is upon us. Summer is winding down, but it has been a lot of fun.
We headed to the Moxee Hop Festival parade again this year. It is the best parade for
candy in all the county and the kiddos totally scored. This year my friend and her girls
joined us and it was a lot of fun see our kids scambling for candy and pointing out all the
horses, princesses and clowns.

Around here, we love blue berries! We are pretty much snobs when it comes to a plain pancake....load them up with blueberries!! And don't get us started on smoothies....YUMMO! Chase has all sorts of ideas that he would like to try such as muffins, pop cycles and jam.
We had a lot of fun getting them picked this year. There was some friendly family competition, followed up with a little smack talk and it all resulted in 22 pounds of berry goodness!
