Summer Solstice

One of my favorite things about summer is the bright beautiful flowers.
This is my second summer filling up our flower beds and as of today,
which is the longest day of the year, the beds look gorgeous.
We planted a ton of seeds this spring and we are beginning to see the fruits of our labor.

Sand Box

Daddy built a sand box for Chase and Max a couple of weeks ago and they love it!
Thank you to Uncle Randy & Aunt Lori for providing the sand and all the fun sand toys too!

Critters

We all love living out in the country. These fellows live in the field
below our house. There are two of these sweet baby calves.

And then there are critters like these.....

This guy was hanging out with me while I was watering the blueberries
the other day. I will just think positively and hope his healthy size means
he is keeping our mouse population in check : )

Dentist Appointment

The boys had their dentist appointments the other day. They were both
really good and Max even showed us how to brush the monster's teeth.

In other Max news, we just found out he has out grown his allergy to eggs. Woo Hoo!

Monster Trucks!

Last weekend we hit the big Monster Truck show in town. It was a ton of fun and
the boys loved it. Chase's favorite part was the motorcycles and Max pointed and said WOOOOW for all the big trucks. There were also a lot of VROOOM VROOOM's.

Memorial Day Weekend @ the River House

Last weekend marked open season for the River House. It was our first official overnight
and we made the best of the semi-warm weather and went all out. To give you an
idea of how cold the river was, I stuck my big toe in and got goose bumps
up to my arm pits : ) That didn't discourage the boys one bit.

There was a lot of bubble chasing, bocce ball competitions and good company.

Chase, Max and Savannah had a lot of fun playing "wolf den" in the back
of my Blazer. This is Chase showing me how ferocious he can be.
