Surprise!

Tonight Chase rushed through the door and said he had a surprise for me.
I opened up the pretty little gift bag and found the most beautiful,
hand-crafted dandelion stem necklace in the whole world.
I am such a lucky Mama : )

Cookie Monsters

Max wondered into the kitchen the other night after his bath and decided he
wanted to help me make some cookies for our neighbor.
He jumped right in and went to town and the cookies were awesome!

Chase is my other Cookie Monster....

Grandma Sandy called me a bit ago and she was laughing. She explained that she was getting ready to sit down at her computer this evening and decided to grab some milk and cookies to snack on. She went to take the first bite and her cookie fell apart. Oddly enough, all of the cookies on her plate were missing their filling. Grandma went to check the package of cookies and low and behold, the whole first row of cookies were missing their filling. Can you guess who likes the filling and not the outside cookies???

Jake, Chase, Hannah, Riley & Max

This past weekend we traveled over the pass to visit with our good friends. It was a
big weekend as Dan and the boys got to meet our God Daughter Hannah for
the first time and Hannah's big sister Riley received her first communion. We
had the chance to just hang out and let our kiddos play and we even learned how
to do some couponing : )

We love this family and can't wait for them to come visit us again!

Another year....

Yesterday was my 33rd birthday and my heart swells as I say I couldn't feel more loved. My wonderful husband is one of most thoughtful people I know and that is a present all in itself. My Chase decided that Mama needed flowers for her birthday because he knows how much I love them and of course they had to be yellow because that is my favorite color. My Max picked out the gift certificate to get my car detailed, because with all of the time he spends in the driver seat making "Vroooom Vrooom" noises, he noticed it could use the cleaning :) There were so many other wonderful gifts, messages and so many loves (lots and lots from my Chasebug) that I was overwhelmed. I am truely blessed to have such amazing family and friends. Love to all of you!

My boys.....

They can make me laugh until it hurts, swell with pride at
their accomplishments and they can test my patience to the limit.
Every morning, they wake me up by crawling in my bed to snuggle
and every night I get to listen to their prayers and tuck them in with a kiss.
I can't help but feel special at the joy on Chase's face when
he comes home to me in the afternoons or when Max
doesn't want anyone else but his Mama to hold him.
I have no doubt I am completely blessed
and thankful to be their mom.
