Daddy's boys

These two little boys love their daddy! Daddy is the best play toy in

our whole house and it is obvious Daddy loves it too.

Gravity....

Before bed tonight Chase and I were reading through his Highlights magazine and there was a page all about trees. One of the activities on the page is asking your child questions about the pictures. So I asked Chase, "Why is it important to plant trees?" And this was his answer, "Gravity! Trees give us gravity. It is a lot like a really heavy brick and then you cut the brick with a really sharp knife."

One of my favorite things as a parent is hearing the things that come out of the amazing little brain. In the end we also agreed that besides gravity, trees are great homes for animals and tire swings : )

Vrrrroooooommmmm!!

Uncle Andy and counsin Teagen made this truck a while back and we were lucky enough to be able to bring it home. As you can see it has been a well loved addition to our basement.

The Park!

When we woke up this morning, the sun was shining and it wasn't too cold.....perfect conditions for a trip to the park! Our local park just put in some new play toys and we have been wanting to try them out for a while now. There were three different slides and we tried out each of them multiple times. Max loved the park and the only problem we ran into was keeping up with him. He had to wait for Mama to go down the big twirly slide and if I wasn't right there, he wasn't waiting.

I thought it would be fun to get some action shots of the boys coming down the slide. Little did I know they would come down so quickly on this particular slide. I had a chance to click my camera three times, but by the last one, Chase and I were nose to nose :)
