One and a half years old

Our baby turned 1 1/2 years old this week and it is hard for me to believe on many levels. On one hand, I think how can he already be 18 months old!?! And on the other I think how could it be possible that he has only been around the past 18 months when it seems he has been a part of our lives forever. Max brings us so many smiles and I can easily say there is rarely a dull moment when Max is around. I wanted to share some stats, pictures and inside scoop on Max.

He has only had them a few times (thanks to Aunt Jill :) but this kiddo loves them.

It was obvious from an early stage that we would need to have two of these little babies at our house. Not only do we have some major dumping projects going on, but a whole lot of peace : )

Summer in the Winter time

I was organizing the freezer the other day and couldn't quite find room for a big bag of huckleberries that we were given as a gift. Shoot, darn, dang....what is a girl to do?!?

I went to All Recipes and found this berry cobbler recipe and it was A*M*A*Z*I*N*G!

Chase was a little leary of it at first and he took a tiny bite of mine, followed by two bowl fulls of his own. When Daddy came home he said "DAD! This is SOOOOOO good!" Max loved it too! The only drawback is that we all had purple lips and purple teeth for the rest of the night, but it was sooooo worth it!
