Happy Halloween!

Happy Birthday Chase!

Our big boy turned four last weekend and we had so much fun celebrating with an Old West themed birthday party.

There were lots of cowboys and cowgirls in attendance and we had a good ole time!

Morning cuddles

One of my good friends asked me tonight if my guys get along and play well together. I thought about it for a second and was glad to be able to tell her that my guys love each other. Don't get me wrong, there are moments of high pitched screams for toys swiped by older brothers or lego castles destroyed by little brothers, but for the most part, these guys are best buds. When Max wakes up early in the morning he loves to start yelling for brother as he tries to wake him up and when I introduce the boys to anyone, Chase loves to tell them that, "This is my baby brother. His name is Max." I know that they won't wake up and cuddle while watching early morning cartoons forever, but I hope with time that they remain best buds.

Soccer!

Chase has always had a thing for soccer. Since he was little he has loved soccer and has talked about when he would be able to play. Well this year, he gets to give it a shot. He is really good out there and pretty darn speedy. The only thing that slows him down is a passing dandelion that he can't help stopping to pick and give to his mama : )

And this guy doesn't care what sport it is....if it involves a ball of any kind he is game!

Fall

Around here, we embrace the Fall. We love it, welcome it and celebrate it as early as possible with warm vests, trips to the farmer's market and good things to eat like chili and cornbread.
The Fall brings lots of fun things such as Chase & Dan's birthdays, as well as, lots of other family birthdays. Outdoor activities that have been anticipated all year long and one of my personal favorite things....PUMPKINS!


Ok, Mother Nature.....Bring it on!!
