A work in process....

Ok, well these loaded in the wrong order, so work with me here, but this is our latest gigantic project.....finishing our basement. It has been a lot of work, fun and satisfying to see the steps get done.

The drywall project started a little over a week ago and it is amazing to see the process and how much different the place looks with actual walls.

This is the before picture with the framing done and you can see our shower in the background. I can't wait to have this done and start enjoying this space, though we have really enjoyed it being just cement too.

I will keep you posted as we get more of it done : )

Our friends Sarah and Paul came to visit this past weekend and they brought their kiddos Riley and Jake too. It was a crazy weekend full of playing outside in the beautiful sunshine, chilling inside and we even got some good excercise in.

25 weeks....it is going by fast

Our second little boy is going to be here before we know it. Chase keeps us so busy and we have so much fun, that time just flies. When I was pregnant with Chase we took belly pictures all along the way, but this time we are just about at six months along and this is our first shot. Dan said it was only fair to baby #2 to get at least a couple belly shots : )

Move over Michael Phelps....

A month or so back Chase took swim lessons

at the YMCA. It was a lot of fun and he learned a lot.

He is pretty fearless in the water which is good and bad.

I decided to post these pictures today because as I was giving

Chase his bath last night he decided that he wanted to swim.

We had to clear out all of the tub toys so he had room to maneuver.

He did a very nice breast stroke, but I think he is best at the back stroke.

Our bathroom floor has never been cleaner : )
