Little Chef

Chase and I made cupcakes the other night.
He loves to help with anything in the kitchen.

I think it must run in the family.

Testing the product : )

And believe it or not, he loves to do the dishes too!

Pretty Pictures

For my 'gulp' 30th birthday, my husband indulged me with an amazing camera. I am still learning how to use it (it has lots of fancy buttons and options), but I am having fun along the way. Here are some of the pictures I have taken in the past few months.

1, 2, 3!!

Almost every night Chase will run up to Daddy and say, "Daddy! 1, 2, 3!!" Then he runs to a specific place in our living room and waits for Daddy. What does Daddy, 1, 2, 3 mean you might wonder.... It means that Chase wants to FLY!

Not in the Mood...

Early one morning about a week ago, I walked out into the living room to find Chase all wrapped up in this super soft red blanket. He looked so sweet and my camera was handy, so I started to snap a picture. As you can tell from the picture below, my usually camera friendly son did not appreciate this morning invation, so first I got this look......

And then I got this : )

The Doughnut Fairy

There is a doughnut fairy that comes to our house and his name is Papa John.
Chase loves his Papa for lots of reasons, but the doughnuts don't hurt, that is for sure!

Chase and his cousin Joe enjoying Papa John Doughnuts.

Rock Star!

Some where, some how Chase got a music gene...it must skip a generation or two or three, but he has it bad! Chase loves to ROCK! He has a taste for many musical instruments, but his two favorite by far are the drums and his guitar. I think my favorite part of the whole living with a Rock Star thing is the show that comes with the music. If he is playing the drums you get the clapping drum sticks over the head and the "1, 2, 3, 4 !'' And if it is the guitar you get the wide legged Elvis pose, a serious expression or tightly closed eyes and head bobbing to the music, not to mention the cute tapping of his foot....who teaches him this stuff!!
